Zara to return to Afghanistan

Zara, a child patient from Afghanistan who arrived at the 10th Military Research Hospital and Policlinic, Independent Public Healthcare Centre in Bydgoszcz, in November last year is returning home. Unfortunately, the ongoing rehabilitation had to be stopped by urgent family matters.

On 13 February 2013, schoolboys and schoolgirls from the local primary school had a nice surprise. They had an opportunity to participate in a healthy lifestyle promotion event led by Mr Maciej Dębczyński, MD (surgery consultant) who represents the Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Unit of the 10th Military Hospital and Policlinic.

We are pleased to inform that a formal inauguration of the Cardiac Electrotherapy Department of the Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Unit took place on 1st February 2013 at the 10th Military Research Hospital and Policlinic in Bydgoszcz. It is a second healthcare centre in the kujawsko-pomorskie province (along with the Cardiology Unit of the A. Jurasz University Hospital no. 1 headed by J. Kubica, MD PhD) which deals with diagnostics and highly specialised treatment of cardiac disrhythmia.
