About us
10. Military Clinical Hospital with Polyclinic has been operating in Bydgoszcz for 38 years. The initiative to build a Military Hospital in Bydgoszcz arose in the 1950s from the need to provide specialized assistance to military personnel and their families. Bydgoszcz was already the seat of the Pomeranian Military District Command. This is where the idea and design of the first hospital in the Polish Army based on forty-foot foldable containers was created, which enables the provision of medical assistance in battlefield conditions on the so-called medical level III, and at the same time assumptions were made about the use of telemedicine for the needs of the army.
The hospital is a perfectly prepared center for the treatment of victims of wars and armed conflicts. Tasks entrusted by the Ministry of National Defense are carried out within the framework of adopted procedures and standards. Military activities also include medical care for soldiers stationed at the NATO Joint Force Training Center.
Currently, the facility has over 480 beds. Its structure includes 11 clinics, 5 independent clinical departments, 4 clinical departments, the Military Occupational Medicine Center, specialist clinics, primary care centers and a dental clinic.
“The mission of our Hospital is to provide comprehensive medical services at the highest quality and ethical level, gaining the greatest recognition and social trust” – Commander of the Hospital
